Revvy. is a recruitment platform and social network for professionals. It aims to bypass the traditional and largely outdated application/hiring process and reinvent it by using video technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Meant for new generations entering the job market, this application allows candidates to present themselves in form of short, professional videos. In this way they can build their personal brand and as a result, go through the application processes that are more specific and personalized. An AI-powered algorithm matches candidates with relevant job opportunities and does the initial screening with the help of “Hubble”, an integrated chatbot.

The platform consists of two parts: A mobile application for professionals and a website for recruiters.

Approach

Our design philosophy for the application revolved around the central theme of 'space.' In keeping with this motif, we named the app's chatbot "Hubble," inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope that has expanded our understanding of the universe. This thematic choice influenced both the visual and experiential elements of the application, leading to design elements and iconography that echo celestial bodies, cosmic phenomena, and the vastness of space itself.

The chatbot "Hubble" serves as an interactive guide within this universe, equipped to assist users in job applications. This thematic coherence creates a more immersive, engaging user experience.

The Design System

The design system needed to work for both desktop and mobile platforms. Components were designed to automatically adjust and reflow, ensuring optimal legibility and interaction on any device. Moreover, we implemented adaptive layouts and touch-friendly controls specifically tailored for mobile use, while retaining more expansive navigation menus and features for the desktop version.
