The client is an industry-leading manufacturer based in Austria, specializing in systems designed for warehouse logistics. With an international presence that spans over 35 locations worldwide, they have established themselves as key players in the global logistics market. Their extensive network allows them to offer localized solutions and services, making them a preferred partner for businesses looking to optimize their warehousing operations.
As per the design guidelines, the app is envisioned to be a straightforward and no-nonsense work tool.
As the delivery personel works mainly outside, it was important to maximise the visbility of the UI on mobile screens. Very bight or dark conditions impede the viewing of the screens. I therefore took steps to make a high-contrast, utalitarian design. For this, I drew inspiration from order delivery forms. The aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for.

Typography
We chose the Plex font for its utilitarian look and screen readability. Plex Mono is used for numbers to ensure equal spacing and enhance legibility, while Plex Sans is employed for text to maintain a clean, modern aesthetic. This font combination optimizes both visual appeal and user readability across various devices.
