This app is a campaign aimed at encouraging the culture of cycling throughout Austria. Our agency was responsible for crafting the user experience and interface of the associated mobile application. This app serves as a comprehensive tool for cyclists, offering features such as route planning, community engagement, and tracking cycling metrics. Our design team focused on creating an intuitive, user-friendly platform that not only elevates the overall cycling experience but also aligns perfectly with the initiative's core mission to promote sustainable transportation.
Approach & Technical Limitations
Due to constraints imposed by a limited development budget, we opted to build the application using Flutter and Material Design 2. While this choice enabled us to streamline the development process and reduce costs, it also presented us with significant design challenges. Specifically, the limitations inherent to Material Design 2 forced us to devise creative workarounds in order to achieve our desired user experience and interface aesthetics.
